Guthrie's opened in 1965, but didn't start focusing on chicken fingers until 1978. Zaxby's opened in 1990. Layne's opened in 1994. Raising Cane's, probably the most famous of them all, opened in 1996. WebbIf you’re traveling far, you have to eat-in or it really isn’t worth it because they’ll get cold. Cane’s has the freshest food out of any chain. If the tenders sit for more than 6 minutes, they can’t be served.
